Secondary Email or Phone Number
If you forgot the password to your Okta account, you can reset your password only if a secondary email or phone number was previously added to your Okta account. If you have difficulty following the steps below, you can request help in adding a new password to your account. Please fill out the contact form. When the help desk replies to your email, CC your country Operations Director in the email.
The help technicians must take multiple steps to prove your identity, so please have patience with them as they assist you.
To reset your Okta password for your primary email or phone number, follow these steps:
- Go to https://signon.okta.com
- Click on “Need help signing in?"

- Click “Forgot password?”

- If you want a reset code to be sent to your phone, click “Reset via SMS.” If you want a reset code sent to your secondary email address, click “Reset via Email.”

- Click “Back to sign in.”

- Enter the code from your phone or email into the box and click “Verify”.

- Enter a new password. It must be different from your previous password.

- Click “Sign me out of all other devices” so that you can enter your new password. This is very important if you believe your password is compromised (stolen).
